Some changes are coming...

Hello Fireflies!!!!!

DT Jammie here and I'd like to let you all know that there will be some changes coming to FFC.  We are going to focus the whole store onto Facebook!  We are hoping this makes things easier for you all and that you'll love what we are doing!  We will still have the same great products, and add new things often, as fellas having the same commitment to amazing prices and superb customer service.

We are also changing our challenge schedule.  From now on we will be doing just one monthly challenge.  You can feel free to enter as many times as you like, just be sure you're using some product that we carry.  The challenge will be done on Facebook and we hope that many, many of you will play along.  So stay tuned and lookout for our challenge coming to you on the First of every month!!!

In the mean time:

We have another amazing card for you to check out from our totally awesome guest designer Jan Tink.  Jan is so amazingly incredible, I can't help but get a little bit star struck when I chat with her!  She is so kind and sweet and fun!  I'm just in awe.  Check out her super cute Halloween card!

Isn't this just the cutest thing you've ever seen?!?!?! I just love it! Thank you so much Jan for being so incredible, and for hanging out in the forest with us this month!  You are truly awesome!

She is sooooo sweet - I need to make more cards with her on it!

As usual, I have used Copic for my coloring, and here are my color palette:

Watercolor Thinking of You with Leah :)

HI!  I have created a fun watercolor card for you today using two different stamp sets, both available at Firefly Crafts!  Can you guess which two stamp sets I have used?

A little Bee to inspire you

Firefly DT Jammie buzzing by with this sweet little "Bee" from C.C. Designs.  She's named Swiss Pixie Bee Heidi and I think she's just the cutest thing ever!!!  Here, check her out yourself:

Did you see that incredible wooden embellishment????? I think they are my new favorite thing to work with!  You can even stain them with inks and paint them with watercolors! So cool.  You can check out all the different ones we have in the store here.

Meet Cindy

Hi crafting friends!

Firefly DT Siv here today, showing you my first card as a member of the Firefly family :)

This motif is called Cindy from Whimsy Stamps. 

All my motifs are colored by Copic -I really LOVE my markers!

Here are the list of my colors:

Skin: E000, 00, 21, 11, 13, 93

Hair: E30, 33, 35, 37, YR31

Turquoise: BG70, 71 (homemade), 72, 75, 78

Purple: BV20, 23, 25, 29

Pink: RV52, 55, 63

 As you see, one of my markers, BG71 are homemade. Its really easy. Soon I will come back and show you :)

Some bold flowers from Avery Elle :)

I have some bold flowers for you today for inspiration.  I used the "Petals and Stems" stamp set from Avery Elle and distress inks to create this Thinking of You card.

I used several Distress Inks, all of which you can find in the Firefly online shop, BUT...you'll have to visit my blog at Ode to Paper to find out exactly which colors I used, lol.

I have linked all the products in my blog post to the products in Debbie's shop, so they will be super easy for you to find ;)
